A good paint job can really make a good sculpture great, and by the same token, can tank a questionable one. At least that's what I try to tell the kids. Here are some successes, and well, some others from the plaster animal found object thing.
The bottom one is the successful ONE. Not so sure about the top one- I thought horse, but she said lizard?? When I questioned her color choices for that, she looked at me as if I knew absolutely nothing (you know, the 4th grade look) and told me she used unreal color... didn't really want to tell her that color was not the only issue. I smiled and nodded.
