All Magnets Must Go!

I took a selection of tiny house magnets to Chris's church today (Ascension Lutheran) and was so pleased at the generosity of the parish there. I sold quite a few magnets, got many compliments on my students' work, and all totaled with what I sold this week, we have $240 to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank so far. If you would like a magnet, please do let me know. Don't worry if you live far away, we'll work it out. And, act fast... the magnets are very cute!

The Magnets Continue

So, now we have piles of tiny house magnets, adorable, and we must sell them! Our spring festival was canceled, but I will sell them at field day, and at our silent auction tomorrow. Dr. Ed Thomas, my Chiropractor, (Total Body Health Care) agreed to put out a box of our magnets at his office. If you would like one... or four, please do leave me a post. I'll get them to you. $5. 00 and the money goes to Second Harvest Food Bank.

CUTE CUTE CUTE!

So, in my previous post, I talked about the Volunteer Villages, and my intent to have my students participate. Things I learned- Small= Cute! We have gradually made our houses smaller, because they are easier to finish, and oh, so cute. Also- I began by having students cut out doors and windows. Now, I show them both how to draw them on, and how to add them with scraps, and I let them choose. They are choosing to draw windows, and add doors, and interestingly, some are pro-chimney, some are anti-chimney. Who knew. Either way, if you are in need of the cutest magnet ever, for a worthy cause (Our money earned will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank) just let me know! $5.00!
